So remember THIS maternity photo shoot?  Mama went on to deliver her baby girl later that day!

How cool that she has those pictures of herself right before her beautiful Justine was brought into the world- and so glad I got there on time!

I took her newborn shoots, um, 3 months late :)

But, since she was a premie, they actually were right on time.

Anyways, here are my favorites!

Napa!

I just spent the most amazing weekend in Napa with 9 of my bestest girlfriends- friends from all stages in my life.  Starting with a kindergarten friend, to a mommy friend I met just a few years ago.

  So fun to get all these fabulous girls together!  

We are all turning (or already turned) the big 3-0 this year, so we decided to celebrate with style.

We stayed a my friend Jackie's family time share (AMAZING place), did a day of wine tasting in a limo, a day at the spa, and then did a cooking class at our house!

Finished it up with some shopping in my favorite city, San Fran.

The weather was out of control gorgeous, and I had an absolute blast catching up with my girlfriends.  

We need to do this more often!

Besides deciding I need a girls weekend away more often, I also realized that Steve and I need to do a weekend in Napa.

Thanks for all the kind words and emails, I'm glad you all care!  I also know the blog is the most fun when I post pictures, so I will figure that out ASAP.  Which may take a while.....
Another thing I am going to start posting are new recipes I've been trying.  I've been meaning to post for the past YEAR about my new diet: An Anti-inflammatory diet to get rid of migraines.  Its an insane diet.  I am now gluten free, dairy free, sugar (white sugar) free, red meat free, as my cousin says "Anything fun" free diet.  Its been a crazy ride, but its been working, I haven't had a bad migraine since last summer!  Its also helped me finally get back to my pre-baby body weight and I feel really healthy.   So anyways, I've been all over the world wide web looking up alternative recipes and I need a place to share!
So I will be doing that as well :)

Snow Day- Post Family Style

We woke up early on Sunday morning- after Steve had spent at least an hour the day before getting our snow stuff ready and picking the best route to drive to the snow.  We drove for an hour and half up to the top of Palomar Mountain.  Then, we spent at least 20 minutes taking the girls potty and getting everyone in their snow gear.  Only to spend approximately 15 minutes in the snow, coaxing and pleading with 2 crying girls that Look! The snow is fun! Lets make a snow girl! Lets go for a ride! -before packing up and driving an hour and a half home.  Le sigh- the joys of parenthood....
