Anatomy of a Preschoolers Outfit

Jessica's outfits have been cracking my up lately.

She's obsessed with skirts recently.

Doesn't want a thing to do with pants.

And her matching abilities.... leave something to be desired ;)

I'm a big fan of jeremy and kathleen blog

Kathleen does a Anatomy of an Outfit post of her outfits every once in awhile

and she even had another blog going called "What We Wear" posting pics of her and her husbands outfits everyday (now its occasional pics she titles "dailies")

Just fun.

And I think Miss Jessica needs to have a series like that.

So, with out further ado............. Jessica's "Anatomy of a Preschoolers Outfit"

(please keep in mind that Jessica isn't necessarily too keen on the idea and is not always a willing model ; ) )

She chose a pink & white butterfly decorated tank top

and a orange butter fly decorated skirt

They matched because the both had butterflies

She wore some turquoise spandex shorts

(is that what they're called? Or did I totally just 80's-a-fy it?)

She had on some white flip flops with rhinestones on

Then she changed into her 2 sizes too big gold, sparkly heels

Please keep in mind it IS November. We may be in Souther Cali, but it was a bit chilly for this outfit....

A Family Shoot

This is a former preschooler of mine and her family. Mom, Stephanie, is the owner of Hey There, Cupcake! Some of the most amazing cupcakes ever! They are also one of the most beautiful families ever! I also took some shots of Stephanie for her website, so fun! Felt like I was doing some model shoot for a magazine :)

The Y Family

This was the little girl that started it all back last May. Miss B is the biggest personality, and so stinkin cute! Gorgeous family, and love how these pictures turned out!

This is why we don't have TV on at meal times

We don't watch much TV in our family
Partially by choice, but also because we don't seem to have the time
Jessica (and Izzy, though her attention span is all of 5 minutes right now) only really watches TV on the weekends
And, as a family, Steve and I have never watched TV during dinner time. Just the way both of us were raised.
But tonight the Chargers were on Monday Night Football
And I guess thats a big deal
Steve was going to go to the game, but some crazy stuff happened to his friend with the tickets (you wouldn't believe me if I told you) so he wasn't able to go.
So, he put it on after the preschool closed up and as we were prepping dinner.
I suggested he watched while we ate dinner.
Um yeah
The girls would not even look at their food, barely reaching around to grab with their hands.
They were fasicinated
And this is why we don't watch TV while eating meals.....

So flattered that this family wanted me to take their family photos! Little Miss L was just over 1 year old, and a ball of energy!

I was exhausted after the shoot from chasing after her!
